Big holiday house with a lawn and playground, near the Klippitztörl skiing and hiking area

This detached holiday house enjoys a very quiet location at an altitude of 1300 metres and about 2km from the Klippitztörl skiing area. It is also an ideal starting point for extended hikes. The house is easy to access both in summer and in winter.

The house provides 150m² of living space for ten people. The house was converted and renovated in 2014. The bathroom on the upper floor was enlarged and a sauna was integrated. The hallway on the upper floor was converted into a TV and leisure room. The exterior of the house was redesigned with new balconies and shutters and changes to the roofing. The house provides four double bedrooms. All the beds have a length of 190 to 200cm. A bunk bed (180cm long) and a cot can be added on request. All the bedrooms have electric radiators. There are three daytime sofas that can be converted into double beds. Both the ground floor and the upper floor have a TV room. The two bathrooms each have a shower and WC. The upstirs bathroom also has an infrared sauna. The built-in kitchen is fully-equipped with a kettle, toaster, microwave, hob, coffee machine (filter and pads), fridge and 90-litre freezer.

The house is surrounded by a 700m² plot of land. The garden has a terrace with seating, sheltered from the wind, a children’s playground, a grill area, a lawn and plenty of parking space. Pets are welcome, but dogs must be kept on the leash, because of the nearby forest. From April 2018, a barrel sauna for four to five people will be available. A Wicki grill hut for 12-15 people is also currently being built, which can be hired on arrival. This grill hut provides everything you need for grilling and cooking outdoors. It is ideal for all celebrations, such as birthdays, stag or hen nights, company parties etc.

Additional people can be accommodated by using six sofas (190cm long) as further beds. Up to 30 people can be accommodated in cooperation with neighbours. The houses are about 50 metres from each other. The owner can provide a drinks service with beer, wine, mineral water, apple juice and arolla pine schnaps, to be requested at the time of booking or arranged prior to arrival with the owner. Pets are welcome, but dogs should be kept on the leash, because of the nearby forest. Chalet evenings with transport can be arranged.

The house is surrounded by meadows and forests and is right by countless hiking trails leading through the area. The nearest restaurant is 100 metres away. It is about 10km to Bad St. Leonhard, where you can also find the nearest shopping facilities. Owing to its central location, the house is ideal for trips to Styria, Klagenfurt and Lower Carinthia, as well as Slovenia or Italy. A winter and summer paradise awaits you. There is something for everyone, whether it is skiing or hiking. From July to the end of September it is a mushroom paradise, growing right on the doorstep. The pistes are well-prepared and have guaranteed snow from the beginning of December to the beginning of April, owing to modern snow cannons and other maintenance equipment.

    “Wir haben die Faschingsferien 2020 mit 8 Erwachsenen und 8 Kindern im Haus verbracht. Wir fanden alles sehr schön und komfortabel, die neue Küche mit Spülmaschine ist klasse. Die Kinder hatten daraus wie drinnen viel Platz zum Spielen. Einzig beim schlafen waren wir froh, dass wir 2 Kinder bei den Eltern im Bett untergebracht haben und wir die Klappcouch im Aufenthaltsraum nicht mit benutzen mussten. Grillhütte und Fass-Sauna sind auch sehr schön.”
