Spacious antique villa in a quiet hillside location near the small hamlet of San Venanzo, where you can still feel the authentic atmosphere of earlier eras. In this very special vacation home guests have at their disposal both a large antique fireplace and a beautiful furnished terrace overlooking the garden. In the spacious park, in addition to various seating areas in the shade of old trees, guests will find their own chapel, where weddings can be celebrated, and a private pool area. Through a grove you can reach a private lake, an idyll for fishing enthusiasts. Recommended destinations include the fascinating art cities of Orvieto, Todi, Spoleto and Perugia, all rich in art historical masterpieces and ancient buildings, and Assisi, the beautiful hometown of St. Francis of Assisi. Here, in the 'Basilica di San Francesco' you can admire Giotto's frescoes. The region of Umbria, also called the 'green heart of Italy', is famous for its excellent cured meats, its truffles and an excellent pecorino cheese. Baby crib available upon request and payment on site.
