If you want more than just a holiday in Mallorca; if you want to enjoy the typical Mallorcan charm, Villa Torre d'en Huc is the right place for you. Both inside and out, the owners have taken great care to ensure that the original character of rural island life is not only preserved, but also blended with modern elements. And what is the end result? A large property whose attention to detail constantly reminds you of where you are. Here and there you will find tools on the walls that remind you of the islanders' everyday life before Mallorca was discovered as a tourist destination, when agriculture dominated the landscape. Today, the doors are open to guests who appreciate authentic style. Everything here has been restored with style; as you enter the property, you are greeted by a large courtyard where you will find the first choice of cosy seating next to a fountain. Now you are spoilt for choice as to where you can laze in the sun, there are so many to choose from. A covered terrace, a terrace on the first floor, a small space under swaying branches, stone benches against a wall and the pool area. The planting is varied without appearing artificial or planned and designed in any way. Thanks to this successful balancing act, you are guaranteed to spend many enjoyable hours in the fresh air and feel a sense of relaxation that is only possible when the most tried and tested recipe for a successful holiday is put together: Take in a property full of character in a dreamy, idyllic location where you can almost read your mind and then be at your disposal to fulfil your every wish; Add delicious specialities from the barbecue and stimulating conversation. Top it all off with endless summer evenings cooled by a gentle breeze.

Eventually you will retire to the villa and then you will have all the more reason to breathe a sigh of relief. Because the interior is no different: attention to detail, exquisite pieces of furniture, authentic objects from the villa's eventful past and modern art are such an excellent combination that you will definitely want to spend some more time in one of the two cosy living rooms or by the rustic fireplace in the entrance area before you really have to call it a day. This house is perfectly equipped for larger groups, especially as all but one of the five double rooms (four of which have their own air conditioning) have their own bathroom. One of them even has the swimming pool's little brother, a lovely bathtub (if you want salt water here too, you'll have to fetch it from the sea yourself). From the living room, a staircase takes you to a mezzanine floor where there is some fitness equipment to keep you fit during your stay. Meanwhile, younger guests will be delighted by the almost life-size toy horse that stands proudly here. There are also two single beds here; the cave-like character of this open-plan area makes it particularly suitable for older children for whom privacy is not quite so important. Upstairs there are three further bedrooms one of which has access to the aforementioned first floor terrace with sun loungers, seating and plants. This is the perfect place for your morning cup of coffee!

And perhaps for planning what you are going to explore and discover today. The villa's favourable location offers numerous opportunities for this. Despite its seclusion, which is a treat for the ears and nervous system, Algaida is only 10 minutes away to buy your daily necessities. On Fridays, it is worth paying a visit to the colourful weekly market on Sa Plaza and enjoying a stroll followed by a delicious café cortado. For culture, beach and shopping, head to Palma with its beautiful cathedral, which is only 30 minutes away. The sun-kissed bay of Cala Pi in the south of the island can be reached in 40 minutes. Golf enthusiasts are in good hands at Son Gual, just 15 km away, where they can work on their handicap and look forward to going home at the end of the day - after all, you are the residents of a truly magnificent villa for the duration of your holiday. Villa Torre den Huc is a large estate where horses are even kept. Lots of rustic charm, a traditional touch and modern accents come together in a beautiful, rural, secluded location close to the town of Algaida and make for a very special holiday experience. Algaida is only 10 minutes away for everyday shopping. The island's capital Palma, with its numerous shopping and leisure facilities and access to the sea, is just 30 minutes away by car.
