Villa Nar, originally built in the 19th century, is located in central Istria, yet only a short drive from Rovinj, and will amaze you with both its interior and exterior. The villa has been completely restored in harmony with its surroundings, preserving the charm of traditional Istrian houses with thick stone walls and colorful shutters.
Villa Nar can accommodate 6 people and offers ideal property for a peaceful family vacation surrounded by beautiful nature. Carefully furnished, comfortable rooms are spread over two floors. On the first floor there is a fully and modernly equipped kitchen, living and dining area, extra toilet and one of the three bedrooms with en-suite bathroom and direct access to the pool. Two further bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, are located on the second floor. From these two rooms, the pool side of the villa is easily accessible via an external staircase.
Outside, in the stone-walled garden, you can dip into the inviting pool (heatable on request) and enjoy the sun - or prepare delicious meals on the barbecue, eat al fresco and simply relax. It is also possible to order/buy organic produce from the neighboring villagers. Televisions and free Wi-Fi allow you to stay online and active/informed despite the excellent privacy of your vacation.
Enjoy the warm sun, your own pool and, on occasion, a leisurely walk or bike ride at sunset - idyll with style! Villa Nar is located in the small village of Krajcar Brig near Zminj, in central Istria. Zminj is a picturesque town situated on a hill between the Lim Valley and the Rasa Valley, 355 meters above sea level. ?minj and small villages in the surrounding area are known for agrotourism, hiking and cycling. If you decide to stay at Villa Nar, you can buy home-made products from local farms on request. The region of Istria is known for its small, picturesque medieval towns and beautiful nature, which is irresistibly reminiscent of Italy. You can explore the countryside by car, or take a train ride. The local train runs from Buzet in the north to Pula in the south of Istria. The town traditionally celebrates one of the most popular folk festivals in Istria - Bartulja (end of August). This is dedicated to the patron saint of ?minj, St. Bartholomew (in the church of St. Bartholomew). If you would like to visit the tourist centers, Pula, Rovinj and Porec are only a short drive away from the villa. From Pula you can visit the Brijuni National Park and from Porec you can take a boat trip to Venice.
Villa Nar is 35km from Pula airport, 23km from the beautiful beaches in Rovinj, countless restaurants and konobas from 3-20km.
Since there is a fast train station in the village (runs about 3-5 a day), there is nothing to stop you from exploring the island by train (Pula can be reached in about 20 minutes).
