There are good fishing conditions in the fjord, and the catch of the day you can well prepare at the covered dodge area with running fresh water for dinner.

Kvinnherad offers great hiking opportunities. Take a walk along the historic Postvegen, which passes nearby. A short drive from the house you will find the barony in Rosendal. Both Haugesund and Bergen are within easy reach of the house.
