And this is exactly what you will find at Ca Na Castell Son Rubi in the north of Mallorca. It's not just the location at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains that makes it so fantastic, but also the incredible views of these mountains in the distance. The best place to relax outdoors is definitely the well-kept pool with tiered decking. Dive in, relax in a deckchair and then snooze comfortably on a sun lounger under a parasol. You hear the sounds of cooking and the smell of a barbecue wafts through your nose - is it that late already? Soon it's time to head to the permanently installed barbecue with adjoining covered terrace and get cosy with the whole group. A tarmac road leads directly to the house. You don't have to search for hours - there's plenty of space for everyone in the gravel car park behind the villa.

The cosy centrepiece is the living room with a comfortable leather sofa group. Classic art, rustic wooden furniture, warm colours but what really draws the eye is the magnificent stone wall that makes the room feel rustic and natural. On less pleasant days, a fireplace warms cold feet and brightens up the room in the evening. Modern technology has also found its way into the greenery here, as well as a flat-screen TV and an iPod docking station, there is also free Wi-Fi. As soon as you arrive, you'll want to send your loved ones a few photos - hopefully they won't get too jealous! In the rustic, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, there's plenty of space for preparing delicious barbecue dishes. A few steps down, there is also a dining table in case the weather allows you to enjoy dinner together on the terrace. Ca Na Castell Son Rubi has three bathrooms (one of which is en-suite), two double bedrooms and one single bedroom. One is decorated in shades of grey with striking red accents. Another features matching rose colours. But all the bedrooms have one thing in common: matching accessories and a stylish finish.

A walk to Selva or a day stroll to Inca the choice of where to start will not be easy, as both places nearby have their own unique charm. Selva, the church town surrounded by woods with pretty, narrow streets and a beautiful church, is around 15 to 20 minutes' walk away. Inca is about 2.9 km away - a visit to the market on Wednesdays is an absolute must, as is a stroll through the many leather shops. The villa is located close to the Ma-2130 road, so depending on wind and weather, traffic noise can be heard, but other beautiful parts of the island are easily accessible by car. Spending a relaxing day at the beach in Alcúdia or Playa de Muro, less than 28 km away, is quite tempting, isn't it?

Ca Na Castell Son Rubi is located between Selva and Inca, in the north of the island. Thanks to the secluded rural surroundings, you can enjoy absolute peace and quiet and still go on great excursions. You can experience authentic Mallorcan life in the charming mountain village of Selva, just 1.8 km away; the leather and wine town of Inca is well worth a visit. The beach of Alcúdia or Playa de Muro is around 28 km away and hiking enthusiasts will be delighted by the proximity to the Tramuntana mountains.
